Isn't this great! Ms. Porter is doing a terrific job using technology to assist both students and other AP Calculus teachers in Jefferson County Schools. Upon her own initiative, she used Elluminate to teach her class from home during an extended absence from school last year. In her new position as AP Math Lead Teacher, Ms. Porter continues to find great uses for "teachnology" such an interactive discussion groups with other Jefferson County AP Calculus teachers.

I knew Ms. Porter was using Elluminate with her students. I think that is great. I am so glad that you shared this information on your blog so other teachers can see how incredibly useful and beneficial Elluminate can be.
I know some parents will be happy to know that their children really are working on homework when they are online.
